Independent monitoring

In development

I’m developing a separate tool to check the availability of devices and services, starting with basic checks and gradually separating them into independent modules.

Tested in the prototype: An early prototype periodically checked the availability of a single device and saved its state.
Next step: Split the code into modules and add independent ICMP, TCP and HTTP checks. These are planned improvements, not features already in operation.

I currently use Zabbix for operational monitoring. The independent system remains a separate development project.

Development notes

Adding a service while keeping existing credentials

The desktop application can add another service for an employee while retaining previously issued logins and passwords. VPN credentials have a separate policy and validated manual entry.

Community materials and publishing

The Telegram bot works with a community knowledge base, helps with content planning and prepares an administrator summary. Expansion to other platforms is still planned.
